Originally from Lanigan, Jon has worked with the Eagle 94.1FM since 1999 and is a product of the Lethbridge College Broadcast Journalism Program. Jon is involved in both the Swift Current Slo-Pitch and Flag Football Leagues. He enjoys golf and hockey, and is a Rider fan (only when they're winning!!). Previously the morning man on Country Music Radio CKSW/CJSN from 2004 - 2008, you can now hear Ken bringing you local afternoon news and weather on Country Music Radio/The Eagle/Magic. The big guy with the booming voice is also the public address announcer for the Swift Broncos and a member of Swift Current Little Theatre when he's not busy informing the great southwest. |
| Colin Powers Colin started working with the station after graduating from Kyle Composite School. Shortly after getting a taste for the broadcast life, he packed up and went to WABC in Saskatoon for broadcasting, returning to Swift Current in 2004 to pick up where he left off. Colin joined the news team in 2007 and can be heard delivering the news on the weekends. |
| Shandra Ward Shandra has lived in Swift Current her whole life. She graduated from Maverick School in 2008, then attended Great Plains College the following September. During that time she was introduced to Golden West Radio during a three week work placement, before joining the news team in 2009. |
